Our new Bible Study begins this coming Wednesday, the 10th May, at 7.00pm in the Abbey Church, where we will be looking at the book of James. We will meet on the 10th and 17th of May and then, because of other meetings, there will be a gap of two weeks, resuming on the 7th and 14th of June. All are welcome to come and join us. This week we begin with James 1.
Thank you to all who organised and arranged everything for a special Coronation Friendly Friday today. A good number of people from the church and community came along and had a wonderful time, none of which would have been possible without the commitment of so many.
Both Kirk Sessions will meet in the next few weeks, Abbey church on the 24th and Bendochy on the 31st. More details will appear on the Event Page soon.
A reminder that our Friendly Friday this week will be a special one to commemorate the Coronation of the King this weekend. All are welcome to come and join us between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.
As you know we participate in the Church of Scotland Stamp Appeal and many of you place your used stamps in the collection box in the church foyer. Rachel Ewins collects these and send them off every now and then. A huge thank you to all who continue to donate stamps and to Rachel for arranging to send them off where they are used in so many wonderful ways.

Our fortnightly soup lunches have now stopped for the time being but we hope to restart them again in the Autumn. Thank you to all who organised these lunches and all who provided soup and served on the day, without your help this would not have been possible. Thank you also to all who came along and supported them and who had a nice time catching up with others over a plate of delicious soup.
